Rate of Pay: $13.00 / hour (.50 shift differential applicable for night shifts)

Schedule:  12 hour rotating shifts

Position Summary: 
Performs all functions related to shipment of customer orders and warehouse storage operations in a fast paced manufacturing warehouse environment.  Completion of required paperwork.  Perform picking for mixed pallet orders - ensuring data is recorded accurately and legibly.  Regular operation of an electric or gas powered fork lift - stacking, un-stacking, loading and unloading palletized product from the floor and in and out of trucks.  

Physical and Availability Requirements: 

Must be able to work on any day / on a day or night 12 hour, rotating shift

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.

Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds on a routine basis.

High School Diploma / GED preferred
Basic Mathematical skills
2 years forklift operation in a fast paced warehouse environment / Preferred
2 years forklift operation in a manufacturing food environment / Highly preferred

General Duties:

Accurately and efficiently perform “picking” of mixed pallet order quantities and ensure data / information is recorded accurately and legibly.

Operation of conventional forklifts, as well as all other required equipment.

Accurately identify and label materials in accordance with Company warehouse storage policies and procedures.

Efficiently perform all activities related to staging, transfer, stacking, and storage of Finished Goods in warehouse storage locations.

Accurately log all inventory data for inbound and outbound orders.

Identify and adhere to all inbound / outbound shipment notations, policies and procedures.

Loading of outbound and unloading of inbound Finished Goods and materials.

Ensure proper stock rotation by following lot number identification processes and procedures and FIFO methodology.

Perform general housekeeping (warehouse areas, floors, docks/doors, trailers, and office).

Independently take initiative to organize warehouse storage areas and manage floor stock by lot number.

Ensure all trailers are appropriately locked and secured.

Maintain regular communication with the Supply Chain / Planning Team, Outbound Material Handlers, Production, the Quality Assurance Team, and Departmental Supervision / Management.

Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate Quality, Loading and Unloading documentation.

Must be available to work on any day / shift, demonstrate a history of good work attendance, ability to read, write and communicate in English, the ability to work well with others, and the willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
